Dating from around 1659, the String of Horses is a traditional coaching inn is set in the country village of Faugh, 8 miles from Carlisle and junction 43 of the M6 motorway. A great village inn - service (Chloe) fantastic, atmosphere encouraged interaction between guests, really good beer on tap and then an excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable and quiet. A perfect end to our UK holiday!
