The room was decorated lovely, with the reclaimed wood and the exposed stone. The host was friendly and helpful. We really liked the fact that they gave us a complimentary train ticket to use during our stay, which we used to take the train to Basel for the Christmas market. We definitely plan on staying here again in the summer to enjoy this wonderful region of Germany.

The breakfast was great! Meats, cheeses, fruit, bread and pastries, yogurt, also eggs and bacon cooked to order.

This traditional family run country inn exists since 1810. Landgasthaus Sonne offers a large sun terrace and great views of the Stockerbachtal Valley. We liked very much --- the room, the bathroom, the owners, the place. The hotel is a litlle bit far from Freudesntadt, but OK, the location is very interesting. We didn't have breakfast.
