Everything is so perfect. The location is perfect, you can see the mountains in front of the hotel, and the sunset. Really beautiful. Also it’s just a few minutes walk from the train station, very accessible. And it’s close to other small beautiful towns within one hour train. They have parking spaces, too. There are also hiking trails near the hotel, we went to many quiet and beautiful places. And the facilities are in good quality, very new and clean. The room is warm in the winter. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful, we even got the Christmas gifts from them during our staying. I love the hotel and will come back again.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was not only spacious and incredibly comfortable, but it also offered a breathtaking view. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. After accidentally leaving our camera behind, we faced the unfortunate reality that returning to retrieve it wasn’t an option. Yet, the staff and manager at Hotel Steinbock went above and beyond to ensure it was safely returned to us. Their kindness, honesty, and dedication were absolutely remarkable—and deeply appreciated. In a world where such genuine helpfulness is rare, their actions left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I return to Lauterbrunnen, there’s no question—I’ll be staying at Hotel Steinbock again and again.

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. It was gorgeous! The view is like a fairytale. The hotel is located in a quiet area, uncirculated by cars. The room was very clean, with a large and comfortable bed. Delicious and unique breakfast and very welcoming and eager to help hosts. They allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot almost all day after check-out, without any problems or extra charge.
