From my point of view, Atins is the best place to stay to visit Lençóis Maranhenses, and, undoubtedly, Vila Camurim is a very good choice.

There is a nice are outside the room to chill in hammocks. The room is also well equipped. But the best part is the host who is very kind and helpful, and was very reasonable about any requests we made. The center is a bit far but walkable in around 15-20 mins. There are various delivery options for food in Santo Amaro though which you can order by whatsapp. Overall highly recommended and we would love to be back.

They have someone cooking at the pousada that makes food just as good as anyone outside for a more affordable rate. I also wanted to mention how generous and welcoming they are. I asked about shampoo because we hadn’t taken any and the owner offered to give us from his personal shampoo. This is the kind of generous people that own the place. I recommend. Also take a tour with who they recommend, can’t go wrong with them too

The host was very lovely, he did everything to arrange us. The breakfast was super nice, and the comfort of the bed was extra good !! Plus the location is perfect, you're very close to the beach,and to a very good restaurant:)
