The staff was super friendly. Never have I experienced such good guest service. The place was modern, clean, light, and the rooms were super nice. Good food, good service. As someone who frequently stays in Airport Hotels, this is by far my best experience.

Close to Lake Geneva, the ibis Thonon Evian hotel is situated in Thonon city centre, 8 km from Evian. Staff was very helpful and kind from check-in with two bikes / vélos to check-out. We needed the front desk's help to request a large taxi (van) to move our bikes (in travel bags), luggage, and backpacks from the hotel to the train station. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant serves a good dinner meal (menu). The front desk team, the restaurant team, and housekeeping are first class. We would stay here again, esp during a heat wave (canicule) like that of mid-June to early July. They have air conditioning, which gives cyclists a break from the heat on non-ride days.

The room facilities were beyond my expectations. So many spacious closets, fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The contactless check-in and the instructions and support for that were smooth and comfortable as well. Totally worth the price I think.
