Ibis Hotels in Pessac

Good hotel with Ibis standards, helpful staff and very good breakfast. Very good for travelling by car, close to the highway exit and easy free parking. Hotel is not close to Bordeaux center but it's close to the tram line, making it easy to go to the center. And plenty of restaurants around. In short, a very good stop if you are doing a stopover in Bordeaux.

The room was small and the towels were the usual poor quality Ibis towels and no hand towels. Breakfast was ok. nice bread and croissants. It is conveniently situated for travellers en route to Spain being at the southern end of the Rocade (the Bordeaux ring road). Also good having secure parking and a restaurant so no need to go out searching for a restaurant if you have driven a long way. the restaurant offered Italian type food which was ok. We will use it again as it is convenient.
