The Property is situated on the edge of an indigenous fynbos green belt on the edge of a milkwood forest, just meters away from the ocean. It offers magnificent sea views and a sun-drenched deck, ideal for whale-watching or dolphin spotting. The property is a short two-minute wander down the footpath through the fynbos, to the ocean. Curl up on a chair, light a fire where you can absorb a breathtakingly beautiful African-Atlantic sunset.
The view at whale Cove is our own holiday property which we enjoy to share with others at times which it’s not occupied by us. Sharing our home away from home with others.
De Kelders is a coastal village in the Overberg District Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa. Holiday resort 19 km south-west of Stanford, between Gans Bay and Hermanus. Afrikaans for ‘the cellars’, the name is derived from caves in sandstone cliffs there. De Kelders is also an excellent whale watching location. Just 2 km from walker bay nature reserve know for the Klipgat Caves & “Die Plaat” for its beautiful secluded beaches.
