Yonder Hill Wine Farm lies on the western slopes of the picturesque Helderberg Mountains range, about 15 km from Stellenbosch as you drive to Somerset West. We are a proud, family-run wine estate with a rich history of wine farming coupled with an exceptional terroir to produce iconic wines that tell the story of enjoying life’s pleasures.

Property information

Our deluxe Manor House is situated in a secure compound on our beautiful wine and cattle farm, Yonder Hill. This stylish home-away-from-home is perfect for family or group trips wanting to explore Stellenbosch winelands, Strand beach and the best Helderberg has to offer. Guests can take walks through our vineyards and say hallo to our long horn Ankole cattle. Come and taste our incredible wines while snacking on our delicious pizza at the farm's Tasting Room. Or relax on your private patio and watch the sunset next to your barbeque/braai. Our fully equipped kitchen makes this Manor House a self-catering dream. We offer three beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms and a cosy lounge with fireplace. There is a pool nearby to cool off in the summer months and a jungle gym for children to enjoy. Load-shedding is no problem as we are powered by solar energy. Parking is free and safe on site. Cleaning is free and can be arranged at your convenience.

About 15 kilometres from Stellenbosch, on the slow, meandering road that leads to Somerset West, lies a piece of land that is as peaceful and as tranquil as it is in unison with its surrounds. It nestles, in cosy comfort, against the lower slopes of the magnificent Helderberg, it embraces breath-taking views that stretch across the width of False Bay to the furthest-flung beacon that is Table Mountain. We are 10 minutes away from Strand Beach. We are 25 minutes away from Cape Town International Airport. We are 5 minutes away from the nearest hiking and mountain-biking trails
