Private entrance to a spacious self catering upstairs guest suite that is very well equipped with a brand new kitchenette including a washing machine. It is a very quiet and safe family friendly neighbourhood, so no sounds of traffic or the noise of the town centre. Perfectly situated, less than 3 km from the Village square and Checkers/ Woolworths and less than 5 km to the nearest Blue Flag beach. The private courtyard provides a heated outdoor shower, great to rinse down after the beach, a weber BBQ, table and chairs for outside dining and wash lines to hang up any beach towels and costumes or your laundry. Guests have an allocated off street parking bay in the driveway which is at the end of a quiet cul de sac, so hardly any traffic in our street, other than residents.

I am a midwife by profession, living in Cape Town with my husband and two teenage sons, and we love to come down to Hermanus as a family during school holidays whenever we can. When I am not able to check guests in, we have the very capable Gotty, our property manager who can meet and greet and check guests in and out, as well as taking care of any maintenance issues.

Our property is in the suburb of Hermanus Heights, based behind the golf course and at the foot of the mountain. We are situated at the very end of a quiet cul de sac, with ample parking in the cul de sac, as well as one parking for guests in the driveway of our property. What we love about our area is that our boys have always felt safe,, skateboarding and cycling, playing soccer in the garden, and even walk to town with their mates (about 20 minutes). We hope that our guests can enjoy the same freedom and tranquility. We love most of all that it is the safest neighbourhood in Hermanus with only one road entering and exiting our suburb.. We are within walking distance from the Saturday morning market with live music, which is a ritual in peak season. We are also close to the Mountain path hikes and the Fernkloof Nature reserve for those outdoor enthusiasts. Guests do have access to storing bikes in the private courtyard for added security.
