We have a team on-the-ground in Hermanus who will be there in person to welcome our guests and remain on hand for all guest requests. Check-in is between 3pm-7 pm. Arrivals between 7pm-8pm can be arranged prior to booking, subject to availability of your host only and will incur an additional fee of R300

BEDROOM Open-plan en-suite bedroom with bath, shower & toilet King size bed (please note 4-poster bed has been replaced, awaiting updated photos) *NEW Air conditioning unit in the bedroom (installed Feb 2023) *Please note that the bathroom (including toilet) is completely open-plan to the bedroom, as shown in the photos. This might not be desirable for extremely private people or new couples. KITCHEN Fully equipped kitchen with large antique dining table Open plan lounge area leading onto the outside patio & garden GARDEN & PATIO Private garden with wood-burning hot tub & hot outdoor shower Lovely private patio and Braai (BBQ) area with outdoor dining. *The hot tub and garden is completely private and only for exclusive use to guests who book this apartment. PARKING Designated and secure parking bay for 1 car behind electrical gate. TV/WIFI There is a SMART TV with Netflix (no DSTV/Cable). Fibre Wifi included. *UPS installed, so wifi continues to work during loadshedding LOADSHEDDING This is the term used when power is cut to a specific geographical location of the country in order to reduce pressure on the national electricity grid. South Africa is currently experiencing increased loadshedding and it is likely that all travellers will experience this during their trip. Although this is completely out of our control, we do our best to keep our guests informed of the loadshedding schedule and have provided emergency lights & a UPS connected to the wifi. But please be aware that all other electrical appliances and facilities will be out of order during loadshedding. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please be sure to ask us before booking.

Close walking distance into the town centre, the newly refurbished Ficks Tidal Pools just across the road where guests can enjoy a swim in the ocean, followed by drinks and snacks at the fabulous new Ficks Restaurant. IMPORTANT NOTICE We have been informed that there will be construction taking place on the building next door from the end of May 2025 for approx 2 weeks. We have discounted our rates dramatically to compensate for any inconvenience this may cause our guests. Please contact us before booking should you have any questions.
