The building was built on what used to be the exhibition center of "Phong Lan" Electric Fans company. The company is the oldes and the most famous company in Haiphong and therefore the name. The building is located right at the heart of Haiphong center, 500m from the Opera House, with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
