Your private guest suite has two large windows with views of the San Francisco Peaks and Sedona’s Red Rocks where you will enjoy magnificent sunrises. The backyard with mature trees and multiple bird feeders is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the wildlife.
Please note: If you are mobility challenged, this property may not be for you. The parking area and pathway around to your entrance is loose uneven gravel, and slopes downhill. There are stairs up to your entrance.

I am a native Arizonan passionate about what my state has to offer. My husband Dennis and I are both retired. We are birders and love the Verde Valley. We are board members of the local Audubon Chapter, and volunteer for the local Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival, among many other volunteer activities. I sing with the Verde Valley Voices and at our church.
We will be close by to help with any questions you might have but we do respect your privacy. You may see us as little or as much as you like. If you have questions or there is a problem, we accept text, phone calls, email, and you may always knock on our patio door to speak with us directly. If your space is too hot or too cold, please contact us. The house has central air-conditioning and we are happy to adjust the temperature to your needs.
Your studio is in a quiet, residential neighborhood on a dead-end street. Close to shopping and restaurants with easy access to Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona, and Jerome.
Walking the neighborhood is an excellent way to get a little exercise and we live on a mountain-side which will provide extra aerobic effort. The elevation here is 3600 feet altitude which you should keep in mind if you live at or near sea level.
Within a few miles of the house, there are several wineries and Yavapai College tasting room is only a two-block walk.
Taxis and bus service are available but it is best to have your own car as this is a rural area and the many attractions you may visit are spread out over a large area.
The Cottonwood Area Transit (CAT) will take you to Clarkdale, Cottonwood, and Verde Village. It has a connection to the Verde Lynx bus which will take you to Sedona and back. The bus stop for CAT is a block away, on the campus of Yavapai College. For up-to-date schedules please go to www cottonwoodaz gov/161/Cottonwood-Area-Transit-CAT (replace spaces with periods).
