Located 1 km from the entrance of Rwenzori Mountain National Park’s Mihunga Gate, Summit Guest House offers affordable neat accommodation, coffee & camping.
Welcome to the Rwenzori Mountains (commonly know as the Mountain of the Moon). Although near the equator (less than 40km away) the Rwenzori has a very unique environment characterized by low temperatures (probably below 20 degrees) making it haven to endemic flora and fauna with stunning geological features. A stay at our guesthouse gives you a feel of this unique environment with good views. Food served at our guesthouse by the friendly staff is organic, fresh and delicious.
The guesthouse is within the vicinity of the famous Rwenzori mountains (Mountains of the Moon) with clear views of the Portal peaks (above 3500 meters above sea level); Buraru rocks, the rainforest and adjacent hills. The snow-fed Mubuku River- best for nature walks because of its clear water and boulders is 200metres away.
