We love animals and nature. At our place we always have a variety of people as our guests. We love the mix of stagieres, volunteers, travelers and people who spend their holiday in Suriname, We have younger guests, seniors and everything inbetween. Also people from the LGBTQ community and people with disabilities are welcome to stay us. We are part of the Unu Pikin Foundation so if you're looking for a internship or voluntairy job feel free to connect with us.

Hostel Unu Pikin (part of the UP foundation) is relaxed, safe and cosy. We have multiple rooms in different sizes and if you prefer more privacy we have a few studio’s too. There are always people to hook up with, exchange travel info or share stories. Our building was originally designed for volunteers and is now open for other visitors aswell. We have plenty of space, hammocks and a green garden to relax. We prefer clean and friendly people as our guests.

In the neighbourhood we have plenty supermarkets, small restaurants and vegetable/fruit stands. It is overal quiet and the people are friendly. You are safe to walk around or go out on the bicycle. There is public transportation and taxis in the area. Not so many bars but hey, the center is about 10 minutes by car. Are you looking for the non touristic area? This is it. The appartment building is next door to Unu Pikin foundation where we make furniture, sell books and have a great bike-shop. Feel free to take the tour, we are happy to show you around.
