over the sea and the islets of the Mosteiros.
Mosteiros is an ideal place for those who like to enjoy coast and sea, or for bathing, fishing,
diving, dolphin and whale watching. It has a bathing area between "Caneiros"; surrounded by
volcanic rocks, sought after tidal pools of sea and algaes and a beach of dark sand where two
streams flow from the hills to the east, generically called “Cumeeiras”, that are part of the
volcano of “Sete Cidades”, as well as several pedestrian paths for hiking and walking.
