The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge.
Guests can to choose to stay in a lively dormitory room or in the comfort of a private room. All rooms are heated and are equipped with electric blankets.

Hobbit Motorlodge is a 8-minute walk from Ohakune Village and a 5-minute walk from Mangawhero River Walk. It is a 20-minute drive from the Turoa Ski Field on Mount Ruapehu, and a 45-minute drive from the Whakapapa Ski Field.
