About 100 metres down on Haumoana Road there is a great Cafe called Haumoana Coffee, you can't miss it with its beach murals on the outside and has wonderful coffee, pies, sandwichs and cakes. There is a awesome little succulent garden inside and is a great place to sit and sip your coffee or get takeaways and bring them home to Pohutukawa Villa's garden.
There is a dairy/corner shop down the road in Te Awanga along with a fish and chip shop and a pub and a coffee van. Also in Clive which is ten minutes drive, there is a gas station, vege shop, chemist, great pub and various other shops for your convenience.
Surrounded by lovely wineries including the internationally renowned Clearview, lovely beach walks, (1 minute walk to surf break), the popular Hygge Cafe in Clifton (5 min drive) and don't forget the famous Cape Kidnappers Gannet tours.
This property is situated in Haumoana, which is about a 10 min's drive from Hastings or Napier.

Pohutukawa Villa is co-owned by 3 sisters and a Aunty who live overseas. They wanted to have a space they could call home, and have somewhere to relax when they came home to visit family.
The family that remain in the Bay, help by running the accommodation while the owners are away.
Between Napier and Hastings you will find the seaside village of Haumoana, which has a great local art scene. Haumoana is on the way to Cape Kidnappers (Te Kauwae-a-Māui) and is very popular with surfers when large easterly swells move into the Bay.
Haumoana is located 12 kilometres south of Napier and 10 kilometres east of Hastings in the Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand and is set on the coast, just south of the Tukituki River outlet.
Haumoana village incorporates a school, a Presbyterian Church, a coffee shop, a hall and a fire station. On Friday nights there is normially a food truck at the hall. (100 metres from the villa).
