Access to a spa pool where you can soak under the stars and let the day melt away. Tea and coffee making facilities, with a small selection provided. A bar fridge to chill your favourite drinks, plus a cheese board, crockery, and cutlery for relaxed garden nibbles. Welcome to Pinot's Pod, our peaceful corner of Akaroa. Alan works in local real estate, and Penny teaches at the nearby school. We’re both proud to call Akaroa home and love sharing its charm with guests. In 2019, we secured one of the last available sections in town and brought our vision to life. A cozy, modern retreat shaped by the inspired design of Young Architects. It’s a space built for calm, the sun, and a touch of peninsula magic. And then there’s Pinot, the true host of the pod and the real boss around here. He keeps a close eye on things and may even grace you with a visit.
