「Super kind and friendly owner offering to turn on the heat pump and make sure the place was warm for us, gave us the freedom of when to arrive and didn’t mind if we were early or late. The place was super convenient and comfortable」
Our Picton Nest is super comfortable with everything you may need for coming & going on adventures or a stay-cation. All the cookware & utensils you may need will be available. The Beds & Linen are top quality so you won't be disappointed. The pool area is shared occasionally with us as your hosts, however we try not to interfere with your enjoyment. Limited fitness equipment can be accessed upon request.
We are new proud owners of this property & look forward to hosting you.
Mars has had a career in Public Service and is now on a journey training as a Boat Skipper. Rod is a super handy & clever tradesman who is enjoying semi-retirement. We have a small robust Staffy dog, Buddha. He's very quiet but friendly and will always be shadowing either of us. Please feel free to request a transfer to/from Train Station, Ferry Terminal and Water Taxi Services within Picton and we will do our best to assist.
It's a short & very pleasant walk to the town centre for shops & cafes. Water access is also a very short walk around the Marina. The Marlborough Sounds Water Taxi services and Adventure Companies are approx a 7min walk. We are close to walking tracks out the Snout Peninsula or up the hills surrounding Picton.
