Phillip and I have lived and raised our family on our lifestyle block in Coatesville on the North Shore Auckland for the last 30 years. We love the the green space, the birds, the peace yet close to all that NZs largest city has to offer.
Now retired, well semi, we owned manufacturing business in Auckland for 35 years, we now make metal garden art.
It was a natural progression as Phillip has been a welder most of his life and gardening has always been a hobby for us.
We both love meeting and 'crossing paths' with people from all walks of life, who buy our art, something we also look forward too as hosts.
We have a daughter, son and 4 grandchildren who keep us 'on our toes'.
Maddisons - Maddisons Garden Art and Maddisons Garden Homestay is named after our little Burmese cat Maddison. Maddie was with us for 21 years and always followed us around in the garden so Maddisons we became.
