Company information

Prem Tamang, local to the area who has been working with tourists for the last 2 decades in India and has now come back to settle in Nepal. Ian, originally from Scotland runs The Bimiri Foundation nearby, a small scottish charity crowdfunding drinking water pipelines, and has been good friends with Prem now for the last 18 years.

Namaste Home Stay is an adorable Nepali family home situated 1km from Namobuddah monastery, offering seasonally stunning Himalayan views, delicious home cooked food and warm, comfortable inviting guest bedrooms. Namaste Home Stay is in association with Scottish Charity "The Bimiri Foundation" and we offer hiking tours to local villages where drinking water pipeline projects are ongoing, taking in beautiful rural Nepali scenery and an impressive 100m waterfall feeding into the nearby Roshi river.
