Chantauvent Guest House is situated on the beachfront in Pointe d’ Esny. Free WiFi is available in the public areas. This thatched roof house is right on the beach and offers a beautiful view over the lagoon. Each room offers a fan or air conditioning and is equipped with a small refrigerator, a kettle and a microwave. Some of the rooms have a sea view while others have garden views. The private bathroom includes a shower. The restaurant at Chantauvent serves continental breakfast daily on the terrace overlooking the ocean and lunch and dinner is available upon reservation. A number of restaurants can be found within 4 km. Watersports such as scuba diving, kite surfing and canoeing are popular in the area. Other possible nearby activities include walking or cycling along the wild coast of La Cambuse. Free parking is available. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is a 3.9 km drive from the property. A bus station is located 50 metres from the guest house. The Blue Bay Marine park is a mere 2 minutes walk from the guesthouse

The guest house is managed by Val the grandson. You will feel welcome and at home at Chantauvent. Our strength is our team and the hospitality we provide. There are so many wonderful things you can do in Mauritius, especially in the South. The team will be very happy to share with you what activities you can do around.

Chantauvent is a charming guest house in the South East of the island. We are located just in front of the beautiful Blue Bay beach and lagoon. We have sea side rooms as well as garden side rooms situated in a lush tropical garden just across the road. Our boathouse offers the free use of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkeling gear. We have a nice front deck where you can sun tan, read a book or enjoy lunch. We offer a restaurant service on our terrace that looks out over the sea. We offer à la carte lunch and a unique menu every night.

Chantauvent has a private beach and his located on the most beautiful snorkeling site of the Island. If you love snorkeling this is the place to come! We are located 100m from the beautiful blue bay public beach. And you can walk on the beach fro 2km to reach "Pointe d'Esny" beach. It will take you just 10minutes by car or bus from chantauvent to reach the authentic village: Mahebourg where you will find the fruit and vegetables market and the big market on Monday. There is a lot to discover and let's keep some surprise. Some of the main activities you can do are: -Explore the Blue Bay lagoon: paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear (free) - Speedboat or Catamaran Tour to Ile Aux Cerfs - Glass Bottom Boat Tour in the Marine Park - Visit Ile Aux Aigrettes - Go to the market in Mahebourg on Mondays only -Do a cultural food tour of Mahebourg
