Ile aux Benitiers is located at 500 metres off coast from La Gaulette. This desert island is very popular for picnics, visiting the Crystal Rock, and nice walks around the island. You can combine this excursion with visiting the dolphins in Tamarin Bay.
La Gaulette is also 5 minutes drive from Le Morne beach. The Oneye kite surf spot, is known internationally.
Le Morne Brabant is also open for hiking.
Other nearby attractions include visiting the village of Chamarel, also popular with many attractions and restaurants.
