Property information

Villa Vittoria is a House of Character converted into a small guest house. The place retains all the original features of a 400 year old town house giving its guests an authentic feel of living in a historic place, whilst at the same time offering all amenities typically offered within the hospitality industry. We would also like to inform our potential guests that all rooms are reached via a staircase making access possibly restricted. The property is situated in a residential area, thus, excessive noise or partying is strongly discouraged. With some rare exceptions such as the village feast the area is very quiet and there is no noise at night.

Neighbourhood information

The area is one of the oldest neighborhoods on the islands. Walking through the streets of Rabat and the former Capital city of Mdina is a cultural experience. There are also a number of museums such as the Catacombs of St. Paul and St. Agatha, the Roman Villa and a number of cathedrals and churches. A number of good restaurants, cafe's and wine bars are available within walking distance making the area a good destination for visitors to sample anything from quick snacks to traditional food to fine dining experiences. Guests who choose to hire their own transport can make use of a public car park which is situated within 100 meters from the property. The parking is free however an attendant is usually present and a small tip will be greatly appreciated. For guests who choose to travel by public transport, the central bus station is within 1 minute walking distance and direct routes are available to many places of interest including a direct bus to and from the airport. Given that Rabat and Mdina are centrally located, most places of interest are within a 30 minute drive making the area one of the best localities to set as a base to explore the island.
