Since 2017, Riad Gloria has welcomed guests of all nationalities, offering them a personalized stay adapted to everyone's expectations and needs. Every guest is special, every guest must receive the attention and care they desire. Our staff is always available and attentive to everyone's requests, ready to give advice and book any activity the guest intends to carry out... from restaurants, SPA's, public or private hammams, after-dinner venues, sports, excursions. Our chef, who prepares sweets and delicacies for breakfast every day, will be able to pamper you with her fabulous dinners of Moroccan or Italian cuisine or both. Our guests will be able to relax on the splendid terrace with roof top, where there are sun loungers, tables, chairs, Wi-Fi coverage and electrical sockets for those who wish to use their computer outdoors.

Riad Gloria offers a refined and unique stay experience; our rooms furnished with respect for tradition and with attention to detail harmoniously combine past and present: furniture, furnishings, authentic decorations created by local artisans combined with the latest generation home automation aimed at eco-sustainability. The standard rooms offer a spacious bathroom, outside the room but located next door, with a beautiful bath-tub covered in antique zellige and once used as a hammam; they have two single beds and a window, typical of riads, which overlooks the balcony above the central patio and internal garden. The superior rooms, with en suite bathroom and tadelak and zellige shower, also offer a minibar and television with free Netflix. They have a large double bed and a window overlooking the outside, onto the small street where Riad Gloria is located.

Neighbourhood information

Riad Gloria is located in the Medina of Essaouira, a UNESCO heritage site, but in a private and quiet location, close to everything but far from the chaos. The neighborhood offers countless artisan wood, ceramic and fabric shops that charge lower prices than those on the main turistic streets. You can buy bread in two ancient and traditional bakeries and the famous argan in charming boutiques selling herbs and spices of all kinds. We are close to the colorful markets and the ancient fortress with its majestic ramparts overlooking the Atlantic Sea, the port with its freshly caught fish stalls and the small restaurants that cook freshly bought fish for you. The beautiful and very long beach of Essaouira, with fine white sand is about 500 m away. Here there are establishments, restaurants, bars and sports centers for surfing or kitesurfing as well as riding on the back of a horse or dromedary on the shore at beautiful sunset .
