the house is located in the village of Volegno, renovated with a wonderful view, ideal for holidays in tranquility since it is located at the end of the village on a slope that opens up the gaze on Mount Pania, on the characteristic Monte Forato and on the whole Apuan crown southern and less than 20 km from the beach of Forte dei Marmi. The house enjoys a sunny position and a small outdoor courtyard usable for meals and relaxation. Contiguous to the house passes the path that leads from there to excursions and walks in the nature. Inside: the ground floor has a lounge with a fireplace, satellite TV, a sofa bed that can become 2 beds, and a dining table. Also on the ground floor, in addition to the entrance and hallway from where the stairs lead to the first floor, is the kitchen equipped with appliances, pots and pans. On the first floor there is a large bathroom with toilet and shower and a double bedroom with a mezzanine which can be accessed from the continuation of the flight of stairs where two bunk beds are available. Hi, I'm Massimo with my wife Cristina. From this year we decided to rent this house in the summer, the rest of the year it is inhabited by our son Major Andrea who is 35 and who is the real "Owner" of the house. He likes to live here because he is always looking for simple and genuine things that he finds here like his trips abroad by bike, train or hitchhiking on alternative routes not beaten by mass tourism, perhaps meeting people in a bar in the Pampa. Argentina, or in a village in the mountains of Morocco or outside the post office in a village in Cuba. Here this is a home for those like him who do not want to submit to prepackaged tourist stereotypes. You can organize yourself to go to the sea on the beaches of Versilia or to Pisa, Lucca, Florence or the 5 terre, Pietrasanta, or go trekking in the area where there are many paths in the chestnut woods and reach panoramic points and mountain peaks. And at night enjoying a drink or a good wine or dining on the outdoor balcony you can observe a fantastic starry sky without the pollution of artificial lights

An Important notice! Our house is not for lazy people who want the comfort of the car close to home, the path from the parking lot to the house is on foot and the path is uphill and obviously the luggage must be transported up to the home (we usually help guests in this; they are about 350 meters!) for this reason with regret we want to advise against those with walking problems not to book but also to those who do not feel minimizing walking.
