A unique building in the centre of Sassari located a few minutes away from the town market, cinema and the old town of the city. It also has a lovely small balcony on a quiet street and the apartment is very cosy with all the comforts.
I love hosting and getting to know different people from around the world. I have dual nationality myself (Italian and British) and I have lived worked and travelled in Italy, Uk and South America. I have a background in teaching, social sciences and I love languages that' s why I speak Italian, English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently. I am fully aware of all the difficulties that we travellers can face and that's why my experience can be of great help as a host!
My guests love to walk around the narrow alleys in the old town and to have a drink in the many cafes and bars around. there also many restaurants with local cuisine that have a range of choice that goes from fresh fish to home-made pasta and even pizza! There are also some typical restaurants that make the famous "fainè". This is a typical dish from Sassari made of chickpeas flour. Sassari is also the perfect spot if you want to visit all the famous nearby beaches such as Stintino, Alghero or Castelsardo! Being in the middle of the northern-east part of the island it allows you to reach the different spots on the coast easily.
