This countryside holiday home is in the Montecastelli Pisano region of Tuscany in Italy. It has 2 rustic bedrooms and can accommodate 4 guests. The village of Montecastelli dates back to the 13th century and is located between the Val di Pavone and the Val di Cecina, on top of a hill at an altitude of 504 metres. The characteristic houses, made of local stones, give it a special atmosphere. The streets are two straight lines one above the other on top of the hill. Montecastelli is located 2 km from the river Peacock (Pavone) where it is possible to swim, to take long walks in a beautiful canyon until you reach the confluence with the river Cecina. The apartment is part of a very large and ancient house, in the center of the medieval village of Montecastelli-Pisano. It has a large kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a terrace where you can sit and have a beautiful view of the valley.
