Every 15/20 minutes a train leaves for Florence, the journey takes less than 30 minutes. The shuttle service between the Empoli station and the house is included. The service is free. At 8 km by public transport you can visit Vinci, Leonardo's village. Within 300 meters you will find restaurants and bars.
