B&B Torre Lara was built at the turn of the century in the classic style of the Art Nouveau period. In restoring the property and converting it into a B&B (with all modern conveniences including wifi, air-conditioning and a private bathroom in each room), we have respected the orignal style of the house and its furnishings.
Your hosts are passionate about decorative art and antiques, and can advise you on local Sunday antiques markets. The area hosts jazz, classical, baroque and blues festivals throughout the year. Ask us if you would like to know more!
B&B Torre Lara offers immediate access to a network of walks through woodland and hillsides of stunning natural beauty. Along the pathways, you can visit ancient churches, chapels and Pagan worship sites. Ask Mauro and Jane for information. Belgirate is home to the historic 1858 Sailing Club Society. If you are passionate about sailing, or would just like to try your hand, rent a boat, or admire the Regata, ask your hosts for more details. B&B Torre Lara is located in the centre of one of Italy's major golf circuits. We have welcomed numerous clients who are passionate golf players. Ask for more info!
