We are a young couple in our early twenties that are making our way in the travel industry. Sóley mostly cleans and takes care of all bookings while Hjörvar takes care of the house but helps every now and then cleaning and making the beds. We have two dogs named Sesar and Atlas, they help out every now and then by being cute and greeting our guests!

Sauðanes Guesthouse is a guesthouse located 8 km outside of Höfn. The house itself was built in 1950 but has been renovated on the inside and is now a guesthouse but with a home-esque feeling. The house has a shared dining room and kitchen along with shower rooms and toilets on each floor. We want our guests to feel like they're in a home away from home. One of our main goals is not to be the typical kind of guesthouse, we want our guests to feel Iceland through our house with traditional Icelandic home decor along with photos of our beloved sheep.

Sauðanes Guesthouse is located just 8 km outside of Höfn, the nearest town. The guesthouse's best feature is the view all around, glaciers, mountains and our fields all around the house. Vestrahorn can be seen from Sauðanes but is only a 15 minute drive away from the guesthouse. During winter time you can enjoy the Northern Lights away from all disturbance. In the summer, the sunsets are really amazing to see from Sauðanes.
