This location is great to explore the West part of Iceland.
It takes you only about 30 minutes to access Snæfellsnes Peninsula (south part of it) where you may find Arnarstapi, Hellnar, Snæfellsjökull Glacier and Lóndrangar!
There's a lot to do and see! Húsafell is nearby with the cool waterfalls "Hraunfossar" and "Barnafoss".
Into the Glacier at Langjökull is a very cool experience that we can recommend.
Víðgelmir Cave is Iceland's largest cave is about 1 hour drive from us.
Krauma Geothermal baths and spa, Deildartunguhver (the most powerful hot spring in Europe) and Reykholt village is about 20-25 minute drive.
The settlement museum in Borgarnes is 15km drive and is a museum worth to visit.
We recommend that our guests arrive with their own rental car as the public transportation is on the poorer end all the way to our guesthouse.
