The Bothy is a converted riding stables which is now a two bedroom self contained apartment featuring a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, shower room, and an open plan light and airy kitchen, dining room and sitting room. We live in the house across the courtyard so we are on hand if required. The Bothy has internet access to keep you connected. The property stands on 6 acres and has views of the surrounding countryside. We are located just 10 mins from the M17 motorway, 7 minutes drive from Milltown's pub restaurants, river walk and children's play park, 2hours 10 from Dublin airport ,30 mins from Ireland west Airport Knock, 1hour drive from Shannon airport, 25mins from beautiful Cong with it's Lough's and the Ashford castle estate to explore. 40mins from Galway City, easy access to the Greeway, and situated exactly half way between Cork and Donegal on the Wild Atlantic way making it possible to see as much of the route as possible, whilst based in one place. We are close to many walking and hiking trails such as Cloonfad scenic walks as well as the award winning Velorail at Kiltimagh. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 gas burner hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer box, Tassimo coffee machine, pots, pans, and utensils, All bedding and towels, shampoo and shower gel are included. A welcome tray which includes tea, coffee, milk, butter, jam, water, wine and a loaf of homemade soda bread will be left in the kitchen for you.
Kevin worked as a Chef and Jacqueline worked in hospitality now we love traveling around the world and enjoy welcoming our guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we live in, whilst sharing our knowledge of the great places to visit and enjoy during your stay.
Lissananny is a hinterland of Kilconly parish. It is very rural area surrounded by farms. Kilconly village 2km away has a School, Blake's Pub, hairdressers, village shop, post-office, community centre, The Venue that stages many concerts throughout the year as well as the May bank holiday Country Fest. children's play park, Soccer pitches children's climbing wall. Outdoor gym with floodlight walking track. Catholic Church. Milltown is 5km with Sheridans family friendly pub restaurant, a children's play park and Riverwalk.Tuam is 12km away with a wide selection of pubs restaurants cafes and range of shops, supermarkets and swimming pool/fitness centre. There are two cathedrals in Tuam 1 Catholic and 1 Church of Ireland.
