Teach Joe is located in the heart of the scenic Bluestack Mountains in central Donegal The property is 18km from Ballybofey. Bring your furry friend! Your pet is welcome here.
This historic detached house has recently been renovated and is in pristine condition. Overlooking the Reelin river and at the foot of majestic Cruach Ghorm you couldn’t ask for a more scenic, peaceful retreat to spend with family and friends.
There is oil fired central heating throughout the property. Teach Joe can sleep 13. The kitchen is fully equipped. The sitting-room has a flat-screen TV, with Sky and DVD player. Bed linen and towels are supplied. The bedrooms have a combination of beds.
This property is set in the Gaeltacht and the language is still widely spoken locally. Private fishing is included and activities such as birdwatching, nature walks and of course hill walking are popular. Artists have long visited the area for its natural beauty. The property is on the Slí na Finne walk which is waymarked for over 45 kms. The house is also on the path to the crash site of a Second World War plane which came down in the Bluestacks in 1944.
