「It is a private place where you feel safe when arriving. Lot space in the sitting room and kitchen you can cook ur own food . We had a shower and toilet in the room. Couldn't hear neighbours in next rooms we just meet them in kitchen .」

My husband and I are organic farmers who run an ecotourism business and whiskey business across the river in Slane when we are not farming. We have 3 young children who enjoy being on the farm as much as possible and a great team of young farmers and ecotourism operatives who keep the whole place ticking over.

Slane is a heritage village built by the Conyngham family in the 1700s with picturesque views of the Hill of Slane and the River Boyne and Slane Castle below it. It is now a burgeoning food destination and dynamic community of Dublin commuters and local entrepreneurs living and working in the village. We have a farm shop, craft collective, at least 3 different restaurants and of course great bars like Boyle's live music venue which is famed for its Wednesday nights with traditional music.
