It was fascinating to stay in such an old farmhouse, which in many respects has been kept in an authentic state. It was lovely to sit by the fire of an evening. In our party of 4, some of us very much appreciated the lack of wifi; others...

The host met us and brought us to the cottage, showed us their farm the next morning and made us feel very welcome. Lovely traditional cottage, no tv etc so its a good isolated spot for those looking for a quiet break. Would return for a few...

Cute remote location. Host B was lovely. She offered to show us around her farm and even do horse riding lessons but unfortunately we had to rush off the next day!

Ein wirklich sehr schönes altes Cottage! Liebevoll eingerichtet.

Confortable.

Unique accommodation 'Bunratty style' Amazing open turf fire and flagstone floor. This home with original vintage furniture will bring you back in time, when many Irish emigrated to America. Situated in beautiful tranquil farmland, beside a very quiet road. We are still farming here in an organic way and you are welcome to meet some of our animals. We have cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats and we grow our own vegetables. Please do check "other notes" in the description, thank you!
I am Patrick O'Dea, farming all my life here in West Clare. married to Biddy, 2 children. I love all animals. This is my family home, recently renovated, respecting the old spirit and history. I hope you enjoy how this house will bring you back in time, invites you to experience some of the rich history of Ireland we are always available, we will be neighbours! Best way to contact us is through Airbnb texting, as phone reception is not always the best in rural Ireland
very quiet and peaceful, no immediate neighbours Best to have your own transportation. If you like to use public transport, we can pick you up from nearest village
