Our house is a rural 5 bed hose located 4 miles north of Killarney. It is situated just off the main N22 road in a quiet countryside area. We have maintained it's original layout coupled with a modern kitchen cum living room. It is open, spacious and very airy with a south facing aspect. It has been ffitted with solar panels. It comed with two wood-burning stoves to add ambience and cheer for those wet, rainy Irish days - something to look forward to after a local stroll or hike. It has a dedicated reading room with a large array of varied and diverse reading material suitable for all ages and taste.
The house has three bedrooms downstairsserved by a walk in shower / toilet etc. Each bedroom has it,s own sink / wash area.
Upstairs are two double rooms - both with compact en-suite / tv's
The upstairs area also comes with a dedicated work space area that is also very bright and airy.
A proprietors we live discreetly on the grounds. We are available at all times to answer queries and very respectful of people's privacy. We tend to meet and greet on initial arrival.
I like to travel and meet people of different nationalities When at home I am a member of a walking club and like to explore our own local hikes and trails . I love the out doors and my own area here near Killarney. We have reared our family here and have great memories. the idea of hosting others i a nice area appeals to me
All the amenities of Killarney are on our door step. Killarney national park ,its lakes and surrounds is 15 minute drive. Killarney House and gardens ,Torc Waterfall and Ross Castle are also very close. Fishing boating kayaking and rowing are available. DOur immediate neighbour hood for anyone wishing to avoid town offers a lovely blanket bog walk. TYhe fuel /turf/peat of old is saved here. Sand martins Kestrel and sparrow hawk can be heard here. The long circular walk is 9k.
