Just 19km from Galway City Centre, nestled beside a working farm in the heart of picturesque countryside, our charming 19th-century cottage offers the perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern convenience. Enjoy peaceful mornings with birdsong and farm views, and evening strolls under the stars. All this while being just a short drive from the City of Tribes and an even shorter drive to the vibrant town centre of Athenry, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and adventure! Be advised that the property is a work in progress, meaning that there are ongoing renovations. This will not disturb your stay in the slightest but the property is not completely finished to the high standard we are aiming to get it to. It would be perfect for those looking for a reasonably priced place to stay when visiting Galway. Mayo, Clare Limerick and Sligo are within easy access too. The property is dated but we guarantee the highest standards of hygiene. Please don't expect modern features although the house is equipped for all basic needs: Hot water and showers, central and stove heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix etc., cosy reclining seating, access to washer and dryer, fresh bed linen and towels.
Welcome to our cozy bungalow in the fields of Athenry! We’re a friendly couple with two daughters, living nearby and always available by phone or text. Noel grew up on a local farm, and Krista, originally from Canada, fell in love with Ireland. The house is simple but offers Wi-Fi, Netflix, and games. We maintain the highest hygiene standards and welcome well-behaved pets. We want you to feel at home—reach out anytime!
