Barrow House comprises eight luxury individually designed super-king, double and family en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are en-suite with either a shower or bath and with the option of access to a private garden terrace or a sea view. The magic of Barrow House is immediately apparent when you see the imposing Barrow House emerge as the main landmark across the waters as you approach Barrow Bay. The nature reserve on the private drive curves around the waters-edge and brings you into the parking area lined with pine trees as well as the house’s very own heron and egret nesting sites. Push open the tall iron gates and enter Barrow House’s courtyard. At the foot of the courtyard you can listen to the water gently lapping the rocks beneath as you look out across the water to a breathtaking lush Irish landscape with the imposing Slieve Mish mountains in the distance as the backdrop. In a second smaller courtyard at the front of the house, guests will find a sheltered deck stretching out over the water. Perfect for morning yoga, access to the sea for swimming, paddle boarding or for a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Built on a gentle hill rolling down to the water, the stepped grounds to the rear of the house provide plenty of private gardens and nooks to explore. Guests can enjoy the water or the land without ever having to leave the grounds.
