Hello, I'm a writer and I own Villa Nirvana, which is a boutique hotel in Bali. It is professionally managed (I could never do it myself!) and the team, led by seasoned hotelier Landra, does a fabulous job . I like meeting people who have a love of life and great stories, wherever they might come from . I travel moderately myself, preferring to stay in small boutique-type establishments that have a unique charm, rather than the conventional five star chains. I don't live in Bali, so I will not personally be your host at Villa Nirvana - though I'll be lucky to be visiting while you're there. Villa Nirvana is located in the village of Penestanan in Ubud, a part of Bali most famous for its art, culture and spirituality – as well as breathtaking natural beauty. The complex comprises three separate private villas and one large estate , each with two bedrooms (although single-room bookings can also be made) and its own pool. There are also two luxurious suites set in a private estate. The suites come complete with kitchens, dining rooms, rooftop sit-outs and an 118 meter lap pool, as well as a huge garden with fruit trees, and a table tennis area. If you book the suites, you have the whole estate to yourself. Villa Nirvana also has its own restaurant – known as the finest in Penestanan – that overlooks a gorge, and serves Indian, Chinese, Indonesian and Western cuisines. There is also a café for specialty coffees and teas as well as healthy and delicious snacks. The villa also has its own inhouse spa which offers a variety of massages, beauty and health treatments in a lush, natural setting.
