The property is 50 meters from Boulgari Beach. The studios are on the second floor with their own access, private balcony and both have uninterrupted views over Finikas Bay.

I discovered Finikas, when I came to trial a sailing boat here 25 years ago. I've been drawn back here many times and eventually settled here. I accumulated the nom de mere of pugwash, which my Australian friends find extremely funny. Pugwash was one of the first black and white television children's cartoon characters. They of course have a more ribald interpretation and mostly at my expense. I am also Citroen 2Cv fan and my much travelled yellow version has taken us on many adventures across Europe.

Boulgari Beach is set in the middle of Finikas Bay, which is the largest sheltered anchorage on Syros. The Marina in the north corner of the bay was one of the first built in the late sixties and regularly fills with yachts over the summer and as many as 20 plus over-spill into the bay. A dozen restaurants cafes and bars are strung out around the bay. It is a really eclectic mix from small breakfast cafes, to tavernas featuring fresh produce from their family small holdings, picked in the morning and served that day. Three would be considered fine dining for a special evening meal beside the beach. Probably the best bakery on the island is in the centre of Finikas, along with an excellent super market .Boulgari has a Windsurf and SUP centre with boards available for rental.
