After completing a degree in Hotel Management at Portsmouth Polytechnic (now University) UK, I went on to work in hotel management in large 4 and 5 * city centre hotels in Bristol, London and Winchester, in both Food and Beverage and Housekeeping/Front of House departments. Disillusioned with my career in the UK hotel business I changed to engineering and worked for 12 years as Customer Service manager in a family owned engineering business in Hampshire UK. After meeting my 'to be' husband on a holiday in Pefkos I moved to Rhodes and took over the responsibility for the Maria Apartments following the closure of the family supermarket in 2010.

One of the first properties built in Pefkos for tourism before the arrival of electricity cables and piped water. With recently refurbished bathrooms and ongoing maintenance programmes each winter time the apartments offer traditional yet modern facilities for a great Greek holiday. We are located on the Main Beach road in Pefkos. The Main beach has water sports and lovely clear water for swimming and snorkeling. With several other beaches within walking distance. 4KM from the historical village of Lindos take a donkey taxi to the Acropolis or wander through the historical traffic free streets. Local buses to Rhodes town, Prassonissi and other villages and towns. Local tavernas offering traditional Greek food. Everything you need for a great Greek holiday.
