Akrotiri Village is one of the most traditional and authentic areas of Zakynthos island since the views of the Ionian sea, the olive groves and traditional houses create an amazing combination! Historically, Akrotiri is the most well known village of Zakynthos, since the national anthem of Greece was written here by Dionysios Solomos, who also lived in the area. The sandy beach of Tsilivi, the second largest and one of the most beautiful beaches of the island is just 1.5km away from the villa. In Zakynthos town, only 2km away from the villa, you can find souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs, banks, Agios Dionysios Church, Dionysios Solomos Square, museums and anything more you need.
