My name is Alex, and I am part of the family behind Alexander’s Suites. I have always loved meeting people from around the world and sharing the beauty of Santorini. I enjoy traveling, the sea, and spending time with friends at a taverna by the water with a glass of wine. When I am not welcoming guests, I spend time gardening or enjoying life with my two children and our three dogs. For me, hospitality is personal. It is about creating genuine connections and helping guests experience Santorini not just as visitors but as friends discovering the island’s soul.

Alexander’s Suites is a boutique cave hotel perched on the cliffs of Oia, offering breathtaking views of the Caldera and volcano. Each suite is carved into the rock and uniquely decorated with antique pieces from the owner’s private collection. The property combines the traditional charm of Santorini’s architecture with modern comforts, creating a truly one-of-a-kind stay. Guests can enjoy elegant interiors, private terraces with hot tubs, and panoramic sea views, all just a short walk from the heart of Oia. Originally opened in 2003 with just three cave villas, Alexander’s has grown to thirteen unique suites and villas while remaining true to its roots of warm Greek hospitality and personal service.
