As you might be aware New Romney is situated in the Romney Marsh, which is home to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, a world famous one-third full size steam & diesel locomotives pulling passenger carriages, provides you with an opportunity to explore this unique corner of Kent.
The Studio is within 5 minutes’ walk from New Romney high street, where there is plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from:

The RH&D Railway station in New Romney is 15 minutes’ walk away.
The town has a small cinema, plenty of charity & independent shops, tearooms & cafes and a few pet shops, our favourite is New Romney Pet Shop, where you can find amazing treats and accessories for your four-legged friends and the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
There are plenty of walk opportunities available around the town and in the surrounding area or at the beach. Littlestone pebbly beach is 5-minute drive or 30 minutes’ walk away. Greatstone sandy beach is about 8 minutes’ drive or 40 minutes’ walk away.
The beautiful peninsula of Dungeness is about 15 minutes’ drive away, where you can explore a derelict world, find 2 pubs and an amazing Dungeness Snack Shack, where you can enjoy fresh seafood caught on the day. (There are vegetarian options too) The area is a national nature reserve and has a vast variety of migrating birds (RSPB has a bird reserve, which you can visit).
There are a few golf courses in the nearby vicinity too.
