Jon and I moved back from living in Sweden 2 years ago. Jon's family have lived in Hastings for 30 years and so he was very familiar with the area although not having actually lived here himself. Jon runs our No. 23 coffee & roastery in our retail space on the ground level. I previously worked in Sales & Marketing for some of the best hotels in the world so have been very fortunate to stay in some special places and I hope bring some of that experience to your stay here.

The Laindons is a beautiful Georgian building full of history and character. We have 5 rooms in total, 2 on the 1st Floor and 3 located on the 2nd Floor. The panoramic view from our 1st floor breakfast room is pretty special over the rooftops of the old town and up onto the East Hill nature park and funicular railway. There is always something to watch and guests enjoying lingering over this enjoying their breakfast.

The Old Town is so full of character with some great restaurants to eat in as well as some interesting independent shops as well as a number of shops selling antiques too. The beach is a 3 minute walk away and along from the coastal path is our Pier which after much work is due to reopen this Spring 2016 which we're all looking forward to.
