Dev and Binita are the proud owners of The P&M Paignton Residence. A husband/wife venture with a very cosmopolitan outlook, we combine a Japanese sense of style with the practicalities of a Victorian building. The result of course is easily seen in the presentation of our rooms. Living by the sea we naturally enjoy walks on the beach and each year that we live here we are able to explore further along the coastline and appreciate the wonderful scenery that Devon offers.

Since 2006 we've been on a journey to create Paignton's finest Bed & Breakfast accommodation for discerning guests who are looking for something better than the norm. The P&M Paignton RESIDENCE may just be a small 8-room, terrace B&B but it is one of the only B&Bs that holds an excellent 5-star rating in Paignton. This should give all our guests the confidence that we operate to exacting standards with comfort guaranteed.

Around the corner is Paignton Pier which is a good point to get a view of the bay from, and get your bearings. Further along the beach is the pretty harbour, small but traditional and most importantly still a place of work for many. In the summer months our guests often take boat trips from the harbour to Torquay and Brixham and then on further around the coast depending on sea conditions. The Harbour Light Restaurant, in the harbour, is a popular eating place in the summer months. Keeping the sea to your back and going up the main road into town you'll find the usual seaside amusement arcades and fish and chip shops, with small shops offering a real browsing opportunity. And at the top of the road is The Paignton/Dartmouth steam Railway which offers an authentic steam railway experience. Many come here just to travel on this because it offers the steam experience with views of local countryside, coast and takes you towards Dartmouth which has a rich seafaring history. A 30 minute walk away is Paignton Zoo, the third biggest zoo in the country and well-worth a visit to. Some of our guests have adopted creatures that they then visit annually to check on.
