The Barn @ Hoods Croft is a brand new contemporary build of a dutch barn creating a cool contemporary space situated in the middle of the East Sussex countryside. The open plan interior has a mezzanine double bedroom, double sofa bed and a funky kitchen. A double height living area with curved ceiling and steel beams adds to the uniqueness of the space. A lovely walk in shower and underfloor heating throughout adds that touch of luxury. The barn benefits from its own private walled garden.

We have recently built The Barn replacing an old Dutch hay barn. We have lived at Hoods Croft for over 10 years and building The Barn and renovating our Coach House has been a labour of love. Much of Eddie's cabinetry is used in the properties, and he has an ambition to continue furnishing them with pieces built on site at Hoods Croft.

We are lucky enough to live in the countryside of East Sussex with direct access onto Chailey Common, an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) of over 400 acres of heathland and mixed woodland. There are many lovely country gastro pubs nearby, and we are close to the historic town of Lewes and the vibrant centre of Brighton and Hove. The South Downs National Park is on our doorstep, and beyond the Downs is the sea.
