Kate and Roland Whyte moved to Saltmarshe in 2012 and are only the third family in 900 years to own the Hall. They have lovingly restored the current Georgian Grade II listed Hall with a dash of style and elegance combining both traditional and contemporary charm. Set in 17 acres of stunning parkland, Saltmarshe Hall is a truly unique get away.

Fronted by the River Ouse and set in 17 acres of stunning Yorkshire countryside picturesque views can be seen from all areas of the garden. The parkland offers opportunities to explore riverside walks, ancient trees and discover hidden wildlife. For the more adventurous hiker or cyclist, we are on the Trans-Pennine trail running from Hornsea to Southport.
As well as the extensive plant and wildlife to be found in our own garden and grounds, nearby Saltmarshe Delph and the RSPB site at Blacktoft Sands are nature reserves which attract all manner of birds and wildlife and well worth a visit.
