We offer B&B accomodation in our Edwardian town house overlooking the tree-lined village green in Town Yetholm. For our B&B guests, we have a light and airy double bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and en-suite shower room.
Tea and coffee facilities and home baking are provided in your room. In the mornings we serve a full-cooked Scottish breakfast, with locally-sourced ingredients and home-made preserves. Vegetarian options are always available. We're very happy to cater for vegan or other diets - please let us know when you book so that we can do any shopping and cooking needed. There are two pubs within easy walking distance for evening meals and we can prepare packed lunches by arrangement.
Private parking is available outside the house and we have secure storage for bicycles. We enjoy hillwalking and have plenty of space for drying wet clothes and footwear, and walking maps for guests to borrow.
There's no TV in the bedroom but there is fast, reliable and unlimited broadband available.
Ned and I have lived in the Scottish Borders for about 7 years and love walking in the hills, local history and geology, cycling, cooking and crafts. We enjoy welcoming guests to our home, and look forward to meeting you. We're happy to chat and help answer questions and provide local information, but will respect your privacy. You'll have keys for the house for you to come and go as you please.
The beautiful village of Town Yetholm is a great location for walking, cycling and exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. There are great local walks in the surrounding Cheviot Hills and the village is half-way along the St Cuthbert’s Way and about 1km from the end of the Pennine Way. There are miles of quiet country roads for cycling and the Borderloop cycle route passes through Town Yetholm.
